Several years ago I laid in a hospital bed knowing that patients needed more inspiration and connection with others that had experienced similar struggles than they needed flowers or other gifts. Today my dream of having a way to say something meaningful during difficult times came to fruition. Bridges to Patient Empowerment started the Healing Notes Outreach program at Presbyterian St. Luke’s hospital. It was a great beginning and I want to thank everyone who has contributed to this program in regards to time, money, or vision. I would like to make a special shout out to the program’s biggest supporters who have been essential to making this this program a reality.
First and foremost on my list is Suzanne Bates who has a special place in this program for all time.
Presbyterian St. Luke’s–a hospital that has been a leader in art therapy for patients and I could not have dreamed of a better place to start.
Dr. Raymond Garrett-who has supported my mission from day one
Don Buteyn- Your memory and support will stay with us
Johanna Creighton- without your support, this would not have been possible.
Dustin and Serena Winn- your contribution was the first that allowed this program begin to formulate.
Trent and Nicole Babish – your donation and support helped us take every step to get here.
Suzanne Rich- Your donations have sustained this effort.
Maureen Mulder , Will Sarni, Dianne Maroney and Ike Silberman -thank you for your support!
To keep this program going we will need more support. Please consider contributing whatever you can in time or money. Donate here
